Fantastic circa-1961-62 WHL Vancouver Canucks game-worn jersey features team repairs and the original Johnny Canuck patches on both shoulders! This scarce style Canucks wool gamer has “Sparlings Ltd. Sporting Goods Vancouver BC” tagging on the inner hem. “Canucks” is spelled out in individual white twill letters sewn in an arch across the front above No. 18, which is also sewn on the back in larger white twill numbers. Emile Gilles, who played 22 games, and George Ford, who played 39, are both listed as having worn No. 18 for the Canucks in 1961-62. Game wear includes two sets of vintage team repairs on the front tail, as well as to the right of the No. 18 on the front. There are six more team repairs on the back of the left sleeve, which has an unrepaired hole on the elbow, and three sewing fixes on the right sleeve, which has an unrepaired hole on the red stripe.
