Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

One of the most celebrated and collected of all Toronto Maple Leafs teams, the 1966-67 squad would complete the regular season in third spot, just a single game behind the Canadiens. The Blue and White would then take out first-place Chicago before upsetting a favoured Montreal club in the finals. We have a team-signed MLG program from that venerated season, with 17 signatures. Featuring Pete Stemkowski on the cover and issued for an Oct 29th contest against Boston, each signature has been applied to the cover, with mostly marker examples. Led by legendary deceased HOFer Tim Horton, there are also signatures from fellow Hall members Keon, Mahovlich, Kelly, Armstrong, Pronovost, Stanley and Johnny Bower.
The remaining signers include Ellis, Stemkowski, Conacher, Shack, Brenneman, Baun, Selby, Naylor and trainer Bob Haggert. The majority of the signatures display well with no issues, with the Horton a flawless stand-alone ballpoint example. The program itself exhibits toning and surface wear to the covers, especially along the spine, with edge tears at the seam of both the top and bottom of the spine. The center line-up page is intact, with a few creases also visible on both the front and back covers along with moderate handling wear.
