Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Experiencing early rebranding twice, with the original moniker of “Arenas” becoming the “St Patricks” after just two seasons, and later changing to the current incarnation once purchased by Conn Smythe in 1927, the Toronto Maple Leafs are second to only the Montreal Canadiens for Stanley Cup championships, with the blue and white able to boast more enshrined Hall of Fame players than any other club. This lot contains a great Leafs exhibit, postcard and team card collection of approx 2,117, ranging from the 1940s, to 2003-04, with approx 189 examples signed. Highlighted by a flawless Tim Horton signature, there are autographs from numerous Leaf greats including Frank Mahovlich, Allan Stanley, Bob Pulford, Johnny Bower, Dave Keon, Borje Salming and many others.
