Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Three popular vintage items on the radar of advanced Toronto Maple Leafs collectors and ranging from the early-1930s to mid-1960s, we offer an always desirable 1931-32 General Motors Leafs puzzle with box, a 1962-63 Dominion “World Champions” Leafs serving tray, also with it’s original box, and a complete set of 10 1966-67 Esso “Hockey Talks” records with their original sleeves, featuring Armstrong (#1), Bower (#2), Keon (#3), Mahovlich (#4), Horton (#5), Pulford (#6), Selby (#7), Shack (#8), Ellis (#9) and Imlach (#10). The puzzle is approx 8” x 10” when assembled and complete, with moderate surface wear to the individual pieces, with heavier wear to the box including creases, surface wear – especially along edges – and light staining. The 1962-63 tray is approx 10” x 19”, with facsimile Maple Leafs signatures engraved, with just light wear and no unsightly damage. The original box exhibits heavy wear with toning, spotting and staining, with tape added to the entire perimeter. Lastly, the “Hockey Talks” records all show wear to both the sleeves and records themselves.
