Canada was back on the top step of the Olympic podium in 2002 when the men’s hockey team won gold for the first time in 50 years at Salt Lake City. Team Canada 2002 captain Mario Lemieux is among the eight faded but clearly legible autographs on an awesome multi-signed photo of the team celebrating on ice after they received their gold medals that is displayed in a huge framed montage commemorating the historic Olympic triumph. Martin Brodeur, Joe Sakic, Jarome Iginla, Steve Yzerman, Rob Blake, Adam Foote and Mike Peca are the other members of the 2002 gold medal team who have signed in black marker that has faded but is still clear to see and read. The multi-signed 20x16 photo is mounted in a 32” x 28 ½” black wood frame along with five Canada hockey pins at the top and a “2002 Canadian Olympic Champions” plaque along the bottom. Comes with a Frozen Pond COA on the verso.
