A veteran of thirteen (13) National Hockey League seasons, Sheldon Souray was drafted 71st overall by the New Jersey Devils in 1994 and go on to a career that spanned the course of 758 NHL games. Hailing from his time as a member of the Montreal Canadiens, offered here is this photo-matched Habs jersey worn by Souray during the 2003-04 season. Made by CCM and featuring a lone size “58” size label affixed to the inner collar, a CCM logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline while the NHL shield is found embroidered into the reverse hem Decorated over the front with the famed “CH” crest of Les Canadiens, the sleeves and verso have had Souray’s number “44” sewn to them in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals with “Souray” having been spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the back. Exhibiting overall light game-use, stick marks are present over the front, reverse and both sleeves while board burns are present over both sleeves and the reverse right hip. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered “B04104” sewn inside the reverse hem which is partially detached at one side, according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White 1st Regular Season” offering and comes accompanied by a matching LOA. Regarding the aforementioned photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #2925255 (November 20, 2003 vs Calgary) to the light stick marks above Souray’s right cuff.
