Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2021
One of the game’s most stalwart defenders, Shea Weber has only dressed for Nashville and Montreal throughout his career thus far, with numerous appearances made with Team Canada which includes winning consecutive gold medals at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. We have a 2016 World Cup of Hockey Team Canada jersey that was worn by Weber during the first period of the Sept 17th match vs the Czech Republic. Adidas “58” sizing is listed along the interior collar band, with “WCH” and Adidas crests over the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a stylized and layered white, red and black maple leaf team crest, the polyester jersey has been accented with ventilated white twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the WCH crest over the left shoulder and SAP advertising patch over the right.
There is a “Game Worn” Fanatics Authentic patch sewn to the inside hem, with a hologram from the company numbered “AA0000996” placed overtop. “2” has also been handwritten to the fight strap. Worn for just a single period, the jersey exhibits just very light game-use with a few faint marks over each sleeve.
