Winning white airknit Edmonton Oilers uniform worn by the flashy Russian forward Sergei Samsonov during the Stanley Cup playoffs in 2005-06. This Set 3 white jersey was worn by Samsonov right after the Olympic break until the end of the regular season and all the way through the first three rounds of playoffs against Detroit, San Jose and Anaheim! The jersey is a size 56 by Reebok with “12” sewn to the sleeves and verso, with matching alternate crests over each sleeve. Game wear includes a good number of solid stick marks and scuffs. Getty Image #71004075 (May 21, 2006 - Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals) has been matched to the stick mark across the team crest, with the long extended white thread within the crest visible, while Getty Image #71004111 (May 21, 2006 - Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals) has been matched to the dark mark over the upper left sleeve near the number, with the size and placement identical. The image also shows the long extended white thread within the team crest. The team patch resides on the inside hem near a year swatch and MeiGray crest numbered “C03606”, and according to the MeiGray population report, the jersey is a “White Set 2 / Playoffs” specimen.
