Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
From the short-lived Memphis Wings of the Central Professional Hockey League comes this high grade puck from 1964-65. Made by famous skate manufacturer Nestor Johnson, the puck features rubberized red and black logos on both sides with the Memphis team logo on front, and the CPHL logo on the reverse. The sides feature a diagonal line pattern as opposed to the familiar “diamond” pattern seen on pucks from this era and later. In gorgeous unused shape, these pucks are seldom found in any condition.
