Buffalo Sabres center Ryan O’Reilly’s Team Canada game-worn jersey saw duty during three games in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, including the first game of the final. The WCH logo sits on the front of the collar, with the World Cup of Hockey 2016 patch on the left shoulder and the SAP sponsor’s patch on the right shoulder. The Adidas logo sits above the nameplate on the back, and Adidas size 56 Made in Canada tagging is screened on the back of the inner collar. Game wear shows in black marks on the lower right sleeve, which has a bit of red paint transfer. Fanatics Authentics hologram sticker with registry number ZZ0039040 is affixed to the fight strap, which has “3” handwritten on it in black marker.
Fanatics Authentic Game Worn tagging with barcode and WCOH1527 registry number is sewn inside the right rear tail. Printed sheet with information for hologram number ZZ0039040 on the fight strap indicates that Reilly wore this jersey during the second and third period of Team Canada’s game against Team Czech Republic on Sept. 17, 2016, as well as in two games against Team Europe on Sept. 21 and Sept. 27, the latter the first game of the best-of-three final series, which Team Canada won in two straight.
