Canadian defensive tackle Roy Shatzko’s early-1970s Edmonton Eskimos game-worn jersey shows solid game wear that includes six team repairs on the shoulders! Shatzko had an eight-year CFL career with the B.C. Lions and Edmonton from 1965-72, and was the Eskimos’ nominee as Most Outstanding Canadian Player in 1968. Shatko’s game-worn jersey with a green-and-yellow knit collar and heat-screened green and yellow stripes on the sleeves has number “55” heat-screened in green vinyl on the front, back, and both shoulders. His surname is heat-screened in green vinyl letters onto the original nameplate on the back. “North Star Sports Distributors Edmonton Made in U.S.A.” and size “XXL” laundry instruction tags are sewn on the left front tail, near the hip and just above the hem.
