With 20 NHL seasons under his belt, Rod Brind’Amour spent almost half that time with Philadelphia, where he was able to manage an impressive 601 points in 633 games played over nine seasons. This Flyers alternate captain’s jersey was worn by the centerman according to the accompanying LOA, in “Game One of the 1997 Stanley Cup Finals and during the 1996-97 playoffs and/or regular season”, and it’s been photo-matched. Nike size tagging along with a Center Ice label remains affixed to the collar, with NHL and Nike swoosh crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the familiar and classic Flyers team crest, the solid white v-neck has been accented with double-twill sleeve and verso numbers, along with the 1997 Stanley Cup crest over the right breast. An LOA along with a COR from MeiGray will accompany.
Game-wear includes a number of dark marks on the lower front and over each sleeve, along with board burns across each elbow. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, Getty image #1388808 from Game One of the Stanley Cup Finals on May 31st 1997 has been matched to the loose threads on the "7" of "17" on the right sleeve, to board burns on the right elbow and to a black mark on the lower front of the jersey.
