Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
The last Montreal Canadien to wear #33 before the arrival of Patrick Roy, Richard Sevigny spent parts of 5 seasons with the Bleu Blanc Rouge, winning the Vezina Trophy in 1981 (shared with Michel Larocque and Denis Herron) along with a Stanley Cup championship in 1979. We have a signed replica of the mask Sevigny wore circa 1983-84, with this attractive example mounted to a 5 ½” x 5 ½” finished wood base. Well designed with his blue and red painting scheme replicated, Richard has signed over the forehead section in blue marker, and the signature is flawless. With no condition issues for either the mask or base, a hologram numbered “110469” has been affixed to the interior of the mask, with a matching COA to accompany.
