Long live King Richard! The storied career of star WHA and NHL goalie Richard Brodeur came to an end with the Hartford Whalers after he was traded there by Vancouver late in the 1987-88 season. Brodeur wore this mask with the Whalers which was made by Greg Harrison and features an awesome paint job with Hartford’s blue, white and green color scheme and the Whalers’ remarkable logo on each side. This game-worn mask was originally purchased directly from Brodeur by our consignor. As a midget goaltender, he was fortunate to have Brodeur work with his team as a goalie coach and our consignor played with this mask so some of the game wear is from his use, and the cage, which was originally white, was repainted in blue. A fantastic find for your game-worn mask collection!
