Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Despite being selected in the 1974 WHA Draft, Reggie Lemelin never saw action in the rebel league, starting his NHL career with Atlanta and remaining with the club as they transitioned to Calgary. This Flames jersey was worn by the Quebec City native in 1982-83. Currently void of its former tagging in the collar, the v-neck mesh jersey has a screened-on Sandow SK logo on the back bottom hem. Accented with dual-colour tackle twill numbers, name and team crest, the sweater also features knit striping bands and a loop-style fight strap. Game-wear includes some red goal-post paint transfer as well as marks on the lower front band, along with a few examples on the left sleeve. There is also a small slit on the left sleeve, between the cuff and striping band. An LOA will be included.
