Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015

HOF defenseman Raymond Bourque’s signed 1999 NHL All-Star Game North America team game-worn jersey is from Wayne Gretzky’s memorable All-Star swan song in Tampa Bay. Bourque scored the last of his four goals in 19 All-Star Games on Arturs Irbe 17 seconds into the second period of an 8-6 win over the World team. Ray has signed in black marker at the top of the left “7” on the back of his jersey with CCM and size 56 flag tags in the neck. The inventory tag sewn on the fight strap indicates that this jersey was one of five issued to Bourque for either the official photo shoot, pregame warm-up or one of the three periods. Comes with an NHLPA COA.
There are no discernible marks to report on this gamer from the NHL’s annual showcase, which saw obviously limited and contact-free duty.
Canadian flag patch is sewn on the right breast, the Bosont Bruins crest is sewn on the left shoulder and the 1999 Tampa NHL All-Star Game patch is sewn on the right shoulder.
The CCM, NHLPA and NHL logos are embroidered on the right rear tail.
