Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Led by Jeff Carter’s 84 points, the Philadelphia Flyers would clinch the third position in the Atlantic Division in 2008-09, losing in the Stanley Cup playoffs to that season’s eventual winner, the Pittsburgh Penguins. From that 2008-09 campaign, we have a goal mask signed by the Philadelphia squad. A Franklin GFM1000 model with a Flyers motif and team emblems over the chin and each side, 25 have signed in silver paint pen, including Carter, Gagne, Briere, Cote, Lupul, Jones, Kalinski, Vaananen and others. The signatures display beautifully, with a pair slightly smudged. A hologram from CSI has been affixed over the upper right, with a COA to accompany. A 14” x 11” x 12” (the base extends) plexiglass display case with a small plaque affixed to the front is also included.
