Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Hailing from the important retirement night of HOF centerman Mark Messier on Feb 27th 2007, we have an Edmonton Oilers jersey that was issued to Petr Nedved to be worn during the warm-up, with an injury keeping the Czech out of the line-up. With Elite Sportswear and size tagging affixed to the collar, there’s also NHL and Reebok patches on the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. The all-important Messier patch resides over the right breast, with the issued-but-never-worn garment finished in beautiful multi-coloured tackle twill. Both Messier and Nedved have added gorgeous dark signatures to the reverse numbers, with both signatures displaying especially well. An LOA from the Oilers will accompany.
