Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Two of the most beloved players to ever grace Olympic Stadium, Pete Rose would spend just the 1984 season in Montreal and would accumulate his 4,000th hit while with the Expos, while Andre Dawson would be a fixture in Quebec for over a decade. We have a pair of signed framed displays from the duo. First, this framed Expos jersey features a tackle twill team crest, with “4000th Hit” embroidered along with the date, with Rose signing beneath the team crest in blue marker, adding “Hit #4000”, “4/13/84” and “Charlie Hustle”. Photos of Rose along with a plaque have been added, with the limited-edition number of “203/500”, framed to 35” x 41 ½”. The Dawson display feature’s an 8” x 10” signed in blue sharpie, with a plaque inserted beneath. A hologram from Major League Baseball has been added, with the display matted and framed to 14 ½” x 20 ½”, with the signatures displaying well on both items. Please note that due to the size/weight of the larger frame, shipping may be substantial.
