Arguably one of the most talented Russian players to ever grace the NHL, Pavel Datsyuk has represented his homeland numerous times on the international scale which includes winning gold at the 2012 World Championships. This Team Russia jersey was worn at the tournament by the Yekaterinburg native, and it’s been photo-matched. A Nike logo along with “60” sizing sits screened-onto the inside collar above an IIHF label, with an additional IIHF crest over the reverse bottom hem. Featuring a textured and embroidered Russian team crest with “Russia” beneath in cryillic, the synthetic polyester jersey has been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching sponsorship patches over each upper sleeve. A Nike inventory bar code numbered 77857 also sits inverted over the inside hem. A signed LOA from Vladislav Tretiak will accompany.
A few dark marks are present over the lower front band and sleeves, with some fraying to the threading on the seam along the back collar. A couple of the heat-pressed “Datsyuk” letters are also loose over the nameplate, especially the “A”. Getty Image #144236723 from May 11th 2012 has been matched to the black mark over the left sleeve’s sponsor patch.
