Another stellar season for superstar defender Paul Coffey, the 1994-95 campaign would witness a thoroughly impressive 58 points scored in just 45 regular season games with Detroit, with the HOFer leading the Wings to the Stanley Cup finals vs New Jersey, all while garnering the James Norris Trophy along with an additional 18 playoff points in only 18 games! We have a Red Wings alternate captain’s jersey that was worn by Coffey during the 1995 Stanley Cup finals, and it’s been photo-matched! Labels from Eastside and CCM remains affixed to the collar near a size “50” fly tag, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the iconic winged-wheel Red Wings team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid red road garment has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the important 1995 Stanley Cup finals patch over the right breast. “95 Playoffs” has also been heat-pressed over the inside hem. A signed LOA from Paul Coffey will accompany.
Game-wear on the important HOF Stanley Cup finals sweater includes numerous marks over the lower front and sleeves, along with board burns with small resulting holes over each elbow section. A few random fabric pulls are also present. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-matches, 3 digital images are included, with one matched to the black mark and partially missing red threads in the white band over the left sleeve, while the second image has been matched to the long loose string on the alternate captain's "A", and to the black marks in the white band over the left sleeve (some washed-out). Finally, the third digital image has been matched to the black marks located over the middle white band on the lower front of the jersey.
