Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A perennial All-Star during his career in every sense of the term, Paul Coffey was selected to the NHL First or Second All-Star Teams 8 times, with 14 total appearances at the annual event. Named to the NHL First All-Star Team for a second time in 1986, we have the iconic HOFers Campbell Conference jersey worn in that season’s showcase event. A Gerry Cosby label with handwritten “50” graces the collar, with an embroidered CCM* crest over the reverse bottom hem. Featuring “Campbell” placed diagonally across the chest in dual-colour drop-shadow tackle twill, the solid orange V-neck has been accented with sleeve and verso numbers in matching material, with “Coffey” in single letters placed across the upper reverse. The garment has been further augmented with white twill stars placed over the front and reverse bands and sleeves, with NHL shield crests over each shoulder. A signed LOA from Paul Coffey will accompany.
Worn for a single contest, game-wear is light, with a few marks over the lower front as well as within the second “L” of “Campbell”.
