Summoning the dark forces of the club’s namesake to claim a trio of Stanley Cup championships since 1995, the New Jersey Devils began life as the Kansas City Scouts, relocating first to Colorado before making a permanent home in the state of New Jersey. Those little devils advanced to every postseason except three between 1988 and 2012, with a number of conjuring superstars representing the pointed tail including Scott Stevens, Scott Niedermayer, Viacheslav Fetisov, Brendan Shanahan and others, along with arguably the greatest goaltender in history, Martin Brodeur.
