The 30th anniversary of boxing legend Muhammad Ali’s 1960 Olympic gold medal win in Rome is celebrated in this magnificent signed Gateway cachet framed display. Limited to 1,000 signed envelopes, a “Muhammad Ali Olympic Gold Medal Winner September 5th, 1960 Rome, Italy” plaque resides at the bottom of the matte inviting you to view the display that features Ali’s bold blue ballpoint autograph on this evocative 30th anniversary cachet with a “5-9-90.20 Roma” postmark. The Gateway cachet notes that 30 years earlier American boxer Cassius Clay won Olympic gold in Rome before he going on to become the first boxer to become a three-time world heavyweight champion. “Ali” is spelled above the cachet with an 8x10 photo of Muhammad displayed on the right side. Framed to full dimensions of 19” x 27”, there is a bit of wear to the frame, with a COA to accompany.
