Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
The witness of countless epic hockey showdowns as well as other entertaining and sporting spectacles, the Montreal Forum is widely considered the most important hockey venue in history, with some of the game’s greatest moments celebrated within its hallowed Saint-Catherine Street walls. This lots offers an original Montreal Forum single red seat. At approx 34” in height, Jean Beliveau's number “4” remains stenciled in white on the seat back, with the seat number, row and section where it was located added, with a full-colour Habs decal placed over the upper right. The added legs at each side sport embossed red Habs' logos with “1924-96”, with two 24” aluminum-alloy runners on each side serving as a base. The burgundy leather seat cushion remains intact with no large rips, with dents to the underside and chipping to the red paint. The seat back also shows some wear to the finish along edges, including at the bottom, with some grey paint over the lower reverse.
