Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Beautiful trio of unworn vintage-style Habs jerseys begins with the striped 1912-13 style often referred to as the barber shop jersey, with the letters “CAC” (Canadian Athletic Club) on a maple leaf crest. This cool example, with a “1909-2009” patch sewn on the front hem, is tagged in the collar as “Heritage” with a size “L” flap below and shows a couple of tiny marks on the crest, possibly from the manufacturer. Basically an unflawed jersey. Next is a 1915-16 example, also tagged in the collar as “Heritage” size “L”, and along with it being immaculate, comes with the “1909-2009” patch on the front hem. And finally, from the mid-1940s to mid-1970s, is a tie-neck example, tagged in the collar as “Heritage” size “XL”, while on the front hem is a “Vintage Hockey CCM” patch. This jersey, like the others, is in off-the-rack, beautiful condition.
