This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Serving as the championship trophy for the CHL from 1964 to 1984, the Adams Cup – named for Jack Adams, was won by the Indianapolis Checkers in consecutive seasons in 1982 and 1983. From the 1982 CHL season, we have the Adams Cup 10K gold championship ring that was presented to defenseman Mike Hordy. Size 9 ½ with a weight of approx 25 grams, a full colour enamel Checkers logo graces the tableau, with a large zirconia above, encompassed by “1982 CHL Champions” in raised, slanted letters. The right shank sports a generic player with “Hordy” above, while the left features the Adams Cup with “Indianapolis” above. The inner band is stamped “Josten’s 10K”. Wear from use is visible including scratches over the band and shanks, with a few dings along edges. A signed LOA from Mike Hordy will accompany this championship ring.
