Miikka Kiprusoff became the first NHL goalie to record a shutout in an outdoor game when he stopped all 39 shots he faced in Calgary’s 4-0 win over Montreal in the 2011 Heritage Classic. The 2005-06 Vezina Trophy winner wore this stunning retro-style jersey that commemorates the 1925 Stanley Cup champion Calgary Tigers during the first period. The 2011 Heritage Classic patch is sewn on the right breast and Kiprusoff’s No. “34” is written in black marker at the top of the goalie style flag tag in the back of the tie-neck collar along with a size 58 flag tag. MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2010-2011 Season patch sewn inside the rear tail displays registry number “H06490” that corresponds to the accompanying LOA.
Cream-colored felt is featured on the Flaming C crest on the front, surname letters on the nameplate, and numbers on the back and sleeves.
