Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Here’s your opportunity to claim the most unique and controversial NHL official game puck ever used, a mid-1990s FoxTrax game-used puck. Embedded with electronics and sensors, this Official Bettman-endorsed Inglasco 960 model with the National Hockey League logo appearing in the center of both sides logo would show a blue halo during TV broadcasts that would change to a red “comet tail” when it was shot by a player. Four sensors can be viewed on each side with another 12 devices mounted in a ring around the outer edge of the puck. Noticeable game wear shows in scuffing to the screened graphics on the side with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman’s facsimile signature.
