Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Mickey Mantle was baseball’s biggest star during the New York Yankees dynasty of the 1950s and ‘60s, when he led the Bronx Bombers to seven World Series titles and won the Triple Crown in 1956. The signed picture of Mantle on the bench in his “New York” road uniform in the middle of this framed display is a reprint, but Mickey’s circa-1960s autograph cut above it is the genuine article and PSA/DNA certified. “Best wishes, Mickey Mantle” reads his ballpoint signature on this wedge-shaped cut autograph that measures 3” x 4” at its largest points. Plaque at the bottom lists Mantle’s seven World Series title seasons with the Yankees. Comes with PSA/DNA certified cut and an ACA LOA.
