The Toronto Maple Leafs all-time goals and points leader, Mats Sundin was the first Swedish player to top 500 goals, with numerous gold medals won while representing his nation internationally. This Nike Ignite stick was used by the Swedish sniper during the 1998-99 season during the Leafs final season at Maple Leaf Gardens. “Sundin” factory graphics are found on the upper shaft with factory stamping of “08112702” on the backside of the shaft near the heel. The original black tape remains on the blade and white-over-black on the handle and knob. The stick exhibits good overall game-use, with wear to the taped section of blade and marks to the shaft. Remaining free of all cracks or breaks, Sundin has added a black ink signature to the heel of the stick over the Nike logo with the autograph displaying without flaw. Additionally, included with the lot is a 2002 Team Sweden Olympic jersey that has been signed by Sundin. Made by Nike and tagged a size “2XL”, the jersey has been customized as a Sundin and features fully stitched and embroidered elements. Remaining in excellent condition, Sundin has signed the back number “3” with a beautiful silver ink signature that displays without issue.
