Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Chosen by Detroit as the 49th overall selection in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, defenceman Mathieu Dandenault first spent a pair of seasons with his hometown Faucons in the Q before moving onto 9 seasons in the Motor City which included a trio of Stanley Cups. We have a Red Wings jersey worn by Dandenault in the 1998-99 playoffs, and it’s been signed. With Center Ice and Nike size tagging affixed to the collar, there’s also additional Nike and NHL crests on the bottom hem. Styled with the classic embroidered winged-wheel team crest, the solid red V-neck has been accented with attractive tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, along with a custom-shortened hem and sleeves. Mathieu has signed the first reverse “1” in black marker, and the signature is flawless. A signed LOA from Dandenault will accompany.
Game-wear on the playoff set jersey includes a few random dark marks, along with a large stick mark across the front right side. There are also a few faint board burns present, with the jersey remaining in wonderful condition.
