Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Embarking on his lengthy Hall of Fame career with a single season in the WHA in 1978-79, Mark Messier enjoyed 25 seasons of high-caliber NHL hockey, with his 1,887 regular-season points third all-time behind just Jaromir Jagr and longtime teammate Wayne Gretzky. Celebrating his fifth and final Stanley Cup championship with the Oilers, we offer a signed and framed “1990 Stanley Cup” lithograph, along with a second signed and framed 1990 Stanley Cup photo display. First, the litho is by artist Tag Kim at approx 18” x 23”, double-matted in Oilers colours and framed to 27” x 31”, with Messier signing in blue sharpie (LOA included from the Oilers), while the photo is 16” x 20”, and attractively matted with a name plaque beneath and pin above, with Messier again signing in blue sharpie, framed to approx 26” x 32” (a COA is affixed to the reverse).
Please note; While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
