Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2023

Dressing for four different NHL clubs throughout his career, Mark Letestu went undrafted, and was first signed by Pittsburgh. This Penguins third jersey was worn by the Elk Point native in 2010-11. Featuring a single size “54” label affixed to the inner collar, crests for the NHL and Reebok decorate the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled over the front with a vintage style Penguins team crest reminiscent of what they wore during their expansion years, the tie-neck garment has the Consol Energy Centre inaugural season patch sewn over the right shoulder. The sleeves and verso have been accented with "10” in layered navy-over-white tackle twill numerals. The fight strap has also been initialed by Pens equipment manager Dana Heinz. Just light use is shown on the garment, with a few tiny holes near each cuff and red paint transfer near the right elbow. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with a team COA to accompany.
