Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
Playing his junior hockey in the Q with the Sorel Éperviers, Lucien DeBlois was a first-round draft choice of both the Rangers and Quebec (WHA) in 1977. Playing for six different NHL clubs throughout his career, DeBlois hoisted the Stanley Cup in 1986 with Montreal. From the twilight of his career, we have a Leafs "Turn Back The Clock" throwback jersey worn by the Joliette native in 1991-92 to celebrate the NHL's 75th anniversary. A Maska label and size "54" fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests to the reverse hem. Styled with a vintage-style team crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, the sleeves are void of numbers, with “27” over verso in single white twill. The jersey also sports the NHL 75th anniversary crest over the right breast. Game-use is light, with just a few marks over the front and sleeves. An LOA signed by DeBlois will accompany.
