The Johnny Bucyk Auction - May 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2005
After representing the Philadelphia Flyers and scoring a goal in the 1972 NHL All-Star Game, Simon Nolet was the Kansas City Scouts' representative and wore this jersey during the 1975 game in Montreal. Tagged in the neck by Gerry Cosby, the superb orange and black knit shirt features a nice sewn-on embroidered NHL crest on the front while the numbers on the back and sleeves are in tackle twill. "Nolet" is sewn directly onto the jersey (no nameplate). A very light burn or snag has left a tiny hole just beneath the star on the left sleeve while there is a half-inch run just below the base of the v-neck. Classic NHL All-Star game jersey is from a game that saw the Wales Conference come out on top of a 7-1 score as Syl Apps Jr. scored two goals to claim MVP honors. Obtained directly from Simon Nolet, this beauty will be accompanied by his signed LOA.
