The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
One of the game's bright young stars, big quick Edmonton defenceman Eric Brewer wore this CCM white air-knit Oilers home jersey while posting career bests in goals and points during the 2002-03 season. An Elite Sportswear tag is in the neck beside another with a Canadian flag that indicates size 58. The Oilers tri-color crest, the shoulder patches, numbers and "Brewer" across the nameplate are all sewn-on. Tagging in the inner rear hem reveals the NHL and Meigray Group logos and reads "NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2002-03 Season", while "Set #3" is on an Elite/Oilers tag. Nice game wear includes a dozen stick/slash marks on the front, a couple of light burns on the right sleeve and a sizeable team repair on the left elbow. Also two small holes went unrepaired on the left sleeve where more black marks can be spotted. Impressive jersey is in excellent condition and might look even better if Brewer's star continues to shine in years to come. A letter of authenticity will be included.
