The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
After his junior career in Brandon, Joe Crozier spent most of the 1950's in Quebec City, solidly manning the Aces' blueline for 8 seasons. Along with his initial 2 seasons playing with Jean Beliveau, a highlight was the '56-57 season in which he captained the team to the Duke of Edinburgh championship, winning the Quebec Hockey League before taking care of the Brandon Regals. A huge (27" x 23") stunning official framed team photo from that season features a smiling Crozier in the 1st row along with coach Punch Imlach. Other notables are Marcel Bonin, Dick Gamble, Orval Tessier, Stan Maxwell and Willie O'Ree, the man who later broke the NHL color barrier with the Bruins. Although the other photo is unidentified, we have pinpointed it to the previous '55-56 season. Splendid Senior hockey relics are in excellent condition and are from the personal collection of Joe Crozier who will sign a LOA that will be included.
