The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
Splendid red knit Black Hawks road jersey was donned by big Eric Dazé during training camp and in the pre-season prior to the '94-95 season. Dazé returned to finish his junior career that year and made his mark at the '95 World Junior championships, leading Canada in goals while being named thetournament's all-star right winger. He then scored 30 goals as a Black Hawks rookie in '95-96. Nice game use on this shirt with 14 team repairs on the sleeves and shoulders. The lower front exhibits black stick marks and general filth while red paint and more black marks are on the rear hem near the CCM patch. A Maska company tag appears in the neck. There has been a nameplate change and a letter on Black Hawks letterhead signed by Bob Pulford states that in addition to Dazé, the jersey was worn by others for rookie training camp during "all or part of the past 8 years". The letter has been autographed by Dazé who also signed a Sports Registry document to be included.
