The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
The Chicago Black Hawks moved from the NHL's East Divison to the West for the 1970-71 season and racked up an impressive 49 wins and 107 points to outdistance the 2nd place St. Louis Blues by a whopping 20 points. Jim Pappin contributed his 3rd straight 20-goal season in a Chicago uniform and like his teammates received a miniature Clarence Campbell Bowl trophy for his efforts. The silver plated handled bowl with attached lid stands 11" high with the engraving on the front reading "Chicago Black Hawks Hockey Team, Inc. – 1970-71 – James Pappin". The other side is inscribed "Clarence S. Campbell Bowl - 1968", the year representing the trophy's year of inception. The award has been preserved in excellent condition with just slight tarnishing/wear to mention. Jim Pappin will sign a letter of authenticity that will accompany this fantastic trophy.
