This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
Bobby Hull went on a "tear" in January and February of 1963. On Sunday, February 17, Bobby almost single-handily took care of the Bruins, scoring all three goals in a 3-1 win at Chicago Stadium. The goals were Hull's 26th, 27th and 28th of the season and gave him 12 in his last 8 games. After a scoreless first period, Bobby fired two past Boston's Eddie Johnston in the second and then used this puck to complete his ninth career hat trick at 7:15 of the third on assists by Al MacNeil and Bill Hay. The Original Six era Hawks puck was gilt-coated to create a golden memento and had an engraved metal plate with the details added. The precious relic will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Bobby Hull
