The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
Longevity and productivety are just two of several qualities which landed Marcel Dionne in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Although the crafty center missed 14 games during the 1983-84 season due to an ankle injury, Marcel still managed 92 points, including 39 goals, as he continued to rise up on the league's all-time goal, assist and point lists. Dionne attained a significant milestone on March 24th when he played in his 1000th NHL game. A hometown crowd of 10,854 witnessed a wild one as the Kings out-gunned the Red Wings 9-7. This is the puck Dionne used to become one of 9 different Los Angeles scorers on the night. Detroit goalies Greg Stefan and Corrado Micalef were the victims of the Kings barrage. The Approved InGlasCo game puck has the updated Kings logo on the front and a white piece of tape on the back that reads "1000 game". Game use is evident, although the puck is in great chip-free condition. Marcel Dionne will sign a LOA that will be included with this splendid memento.
