The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
1986-87 would turn out to be Marcel Dionne's 12th and final season in Los Angeles. Dionne scored 24 goals and 50 assists in 64 games before the Rangers traded to get him in March for their stretch run. Dionne left Los Angeles as the Kings' all-time leader in goals, assists and points, along with being #1 in several other offensive categories. This gold and purple Kings home jersey is a CCM knit affair and has the Kings' glittering 20th anniversary patch on the left shoulder. Tagging in the neck has been removed while the CCM logo is embroidered into the rear hem. The embroidered Kings crest and Marcel's assistant captain's "A" are sewn on the front as are his number "16"s on the back and sleeves and "Dionne" across the nameplate. Jersey shows light but obvious game wear with a small team repair on each sleeve, a few board burns, some interior pilling at the cuffs and a few small black stick/slash marks on the front. Splendid jersey was worn by Dionne as he approached the 700-goal mark and remains in terrific condition. From Marcel's personal collection, it will come with a pair of matching game used socks, an autographed CCM PPM 101 game stick and his signed LOA.
