The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
During his frequent spring trips abroad to represent Canada at the World Hockey Championships, Marcel Dionne acquired a nice collection of various porcelain and ceramic items. The highlight is an impressive and towering decorative footed pitcher that stands 21" high. The Czeckoslovakian-made piece has a Royal Dux stamp on the bottom and will come in its original presentational box along with a photo of Dionne (in his Team Canada sports jacket) receiving it. Other pieces in the lot include two Russian bears; one has golden Olympic rings around its waist while the other is from Moscow and dated 1986. Another decorative piece from the same championships features a blue globe of the world and is also dated while a handled teapot of sorts includes a small creamer made to sit on its cover. Other than the cracked cover of the little creamer all items are in impeccable condition. Something different from Marcel Dionne's collection to yours! A letter of provenance will be included.
