The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
After leading the L.A. Kings in scoring for the 8th straight season but seeing them miss the playoffs, Marcel Dionne again packed his bags, this time for Munich, Germany and the World Ice Hockey Championships. Dionne scored 6 goals and assisted on 3 others in 10 tournament games, to help lead Canada to a 3rd place finish. The medals that Marcel and his teammates received feature two generic hockey players on the front encircled by "World Championships" while the reverse includes crossed hockey sticks, a globe of the world and the words "International Ice Hockey Federation". Dated "1983" and with a yellow and blue ribbon, the superb international hockey memento is in beautiful near mint condition and will come with a LOA signed by Marcel Dionne
