This lot features two game-worn Brandon Wheat Kings jerseys from standout seasons in team
history. Included are Derek Werenka’s 2003-04 road jersey and Kurt Jory’s 2005-06 home
jersey, both showing evidence of prior use and featuring distinctive team detailing.
Derek Werenka’s 2003-04 game-worn road jersey is a size 54 CCM jersey featuring the CCM
patch on the reverse neckline, a WHL patch on the right breast, and a CCM patch on the left
breast. The jersey shows signs that it most likely had a former nameplate. The number 14 is
displayed in white over black and gold tackle twill on both arms and the back. BWK patches are
present on both shoulders. The right arm exhibits puck and stick marks throughout, red marks
on the elbow, and small holes on the sleeve. The left arm shows a small rip in the elbow with
additional puck and stick marks. A board burn is visible on the back of the jersey, with
WERENKA in white over black and gold on the nameplate. The jersey includes a fight strap
affixed inside the jersey.
Kurt Jory’s 2005-06 game-worn home jersey is a size 58 white Reebok jersey featuring the
Reebok logo on the reverse neckline, a WHL patch on the right breast, and an Rbk patch on the
left breast. The tag inside the collar has “05-06” handwritten in marker. The number 33 is
displayed in yellow over black and silver numerals on both arms and the back. Wheat Kings
patches are present on both shoulders. The front of the jersey has small yellow stains. The right
arm shows puck and stick marks throughout, while the left arm has yellow stains on the elbow
with additional puck and stick marks. Faint puck and stick marks are also visible on the back.
JORY appears in black over silver and yellow on the nameplate. The jersey includes a fight
strap inside.
