Offered here are three game-worn jerseys from the QMJHL’s Val-d’Or Foreurs, each
showcasing unique details and patches that highlight key moments in the team’s history. Included in this lot is a 1997-98 road jersey attributed to Didier Tremblay with a Memorial Cup patch, Ivo Mocek’s 2005-06 alternate jersey, and Derek Famulare’s 2008-09 home jersey featuring a 2009 IIHF patch.
The 1997-98 road jersey is a size 56 CCM-manufactured jersey, featuring a Forex patch on the
right breast and the Val-d’Or logo on both shoulders. The left shoulder is adorned with a
Memorial Cup patch. The
number 4 is displayed in white over gold and black on both arms and the back. Game wear is
evident throughout, with stick and puck marks on the front, right arm, and left arm, where blue
and red marks are also present. Faint stick and puck marks can be seen on the back. The
jersey has no evidence of a former nameplate and retains its original fight strap.
Ivo Mocek’s 2005-06 game-worn alternate jersey is a size 58 SP-manufactured piece with a
CCM patch on the left breast. The jersey shows light game wear, with minor stick and puck
marks on the front and a board burn on the right shoulder. The Val-d’Or logo is stitched on both
shoulders, and the number 10 is displayed in yellow over black tackle twill on both arms and the
back. “MOCEK” appears in yellow and black lettering on the nameplate. The fight strap remains
intact inside the jersey.
Derek Famulare’s 2008-09 game-worn home jersey, a size 56 Reebok-manufactured jersey,
exhibits heavy game use. The jersey features Val-d’Or patches on both shoulders, an LCH
(LHJMQ) patch and a 2009 IIHF patch on the left breast, and a Reebok logo patch on the right
breast. Pilling is visible on the neckline, and multiple stick and puck marks are scattered across
the front. The number 21 is displayed in black over white and black on both arms and in black
over gold and black on the back. The left elbow bears additional stick and puck marks.
“FAMULARE” is stitched in white over gold on the back nameplate, with further puck and stick
marks visible throughout the back. The fight strap remains inside the jersey.
