From the glory days in Edmonton in the 1980s, when the Oilers ruled the NHL, we offer an Oilers program, postcard and photo collection of approx 188. First, the Oilers programs total 33 and include 3 from the WHA including 1975 All-Star Game, and 30 from the NHL including 4 from the playoffs, and 1989 All-Star Game. The playoff programs include Game 5 of the Division Finals vs Calgary on April 26, 1986 (won by Flames 4-1, with Gretzky scoring the lone Oilers goal), 1988 Stanley Cup finals vs Boston (for either Games 1, 2 or 5), 1990 Stanley Cup semifinals vs Chicago (for either Games 1, 2 or 5) and 1990 Stanley Cup finals vs Boston (most likely for Game 2). Next, the postcards include a group of 14 black & white with Gretzky (3 different), 18 Esso cards from 1983-84, 21 from 1983-84 (with Gretzky), 24 from 1987-88 (with Gretzky), 26 from 1988-89 and 11 from 1989-90. The mostly 8" x 10" photos total 11, and include team photos from 1980-81, 1981-82, 1983-84, 1984-85, 1985-86, 1986-87- 1987-88 and 1989-90 (2). Additional items in the collection include 19 early-1980s snapshot photos of Oilers and other players including Gretzky (9), Coffey, Bossy, Bourque, Trottier, Dionne, Nystrom, P. Stastny and others, a 1985 Stanley Cup hanging calendar still sealed in the original packaging - with a picture of the Stanley Cup and all the players listed (10 1/2" x 11"), 4 pins including 1984 and 1985 Stanley Cup, a 1985 Stanley Cup patch, a 1979-80 Oilers Christmas card, 2 Canadian Mint $1 Stanley Cup coins, and 2 Canadian Mint 1972 Summit Series $1 coins. Most of the items show light wear, with a few programs showing more moderate wear.
