The ultimate Habs postcard collection, we offer a large group along with photos ranging from the 1950s to 2000s, totaling approx 902 items. Included, we have 76 4 1/4" x 6 1/2" trimmed player photos all glued to backings to appear like Bee Hives featuring players throughout the Canadiens history from 1910s to 1970s including Morenz, Beliveau, Cleghorn, Plante, S. Mantha, Harvey, B. Bouchard, Lafleur, Lalonde and others, with a number of the photos from the 1950s through the 1970s including David Bier, Rice (vintage copies), and others. The additional photos total 60 and include a vintage 1950s copy of Richard, Lach and Blake in 1944-45, Beliveau (2, one is team-issued), original 1920s La Patrie of Leo Dandurand, Cournoyer (3 different), Dryden (2 different), Lafleur (3 different), Gainey (3 different) and others team-issued, vintage copy of a Rice photo of Aurel Joliat (trimmed), original 1950s Jean Guy Talbot Adolphe photo, 5 original 8" x 10" David Bier photos including 2 different Tom Johnson, 3 trimmed Bier photos with Dryden, Gainey and Cournoyer, and 6 original team photos including from Molson's 1957-58, 1959-60 and 1964-65, from Bier 1958-59 and 1964-65 (both glued to backings with tape residue at corners) and 1952-53. The postcards include 10 team photos from 1970-71, 1973-74, 1982-83, 1984-85, 1985-86, 1986 Stanley Cup, 1986-87, 1987-88, 1989-90 and 1990-91, a complete set of 24 Steinberg from 1982-83, approx 69 from the 1950s and 1960s including Plante, Beliveau, H. Richard, Blake, Geoffrion, Johnson and others (there is multiple postcards including differing versions for most of these players), 32 from the early-1970s, 10 1971-72 Pro Stars, 70 from the 1970s, 248 from the 1980s, 53 from 1992-93, 44 from 1995-96, 142 from the remaining 1990s seasons and 64 from the 2000s (the postcards are mostly set in 2 binders in album pages, divided and listed by season, with the just the totals per decade given here). Some of the photos are trimmed as mentioned, while some others show wear including creasing and glue/tape residue. Most of the postcards show light to moderate handling wear with the more recent examples in better condition.
