Each box contains 36 packs with 9 cards per-pack, for a total of 7,776 cards, with possible rookie cards to include Tony Amonte, Valeri Kamensky and John LeClair. The original case has a large NHL shield logo and mentions the contents in both French and English, with just light expected age and storage wear present which includes some minor/small defects to the case.
Collectors had fun back in the day opening packs of 1992-93 O-Pee-Chee hockey cards since accompanying the eight cards in each pack was an insert card featuring an image of a famous rookie (or other) card produced by the company during the previous two-plus decades. For example, a Bernie Parent RC image represented 1968-69, Tony Esposito ’69-70, Bobby Clarke ’70-71 and so on and so on for each season, with Wayne Gretzky’s RC likeness the obvious choice for ’79-80. The insert set included 25 cards and an unnumbered checklist, while the regular card set was 396 strong. Four different “blow-ups” of trophy winner cards were featured on box bottom cards, with that roster comprised of Pavel Bure, Brian Leetch, Mark Messier and Patrick Roy. The included case includes 24 unopened sealed boxes (36 packs in each box), with some expected age and storage wear present .
